SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it is alarmed concerning the large variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The assistance position designed for intervention encounters a large influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the Workplace to attend to all people who read more pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to empower the servicing of all customers and improve use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
